Francesca Pennone runs Pinksummer gallery, Genoa, Italy, with Antonella Berruti. In this interview recorded on Oct.11th, 2012, during the vernissage of the exhibition of sculptures by Alis / Filliol, she introduces the shows opening this winter: Italian architects A12 and Baukuh, Spanish artist Jorge Peris and a new production by Israeli artist Guy Ben-Ner. She also positively talks about the future of the art scene in Genoa, referring to the Villa Croce Museum of Contemporary Art and the recently appointed curator Ilaria Bonacossa; she also mentions Chan Gallery and Garrone Foundation among those institutions that are helping the city to grow in terms of artistic research.
Francesca Pennone dirige la galleria d’arte Pinksummer di Genova con Antonella Berruti. In questa intervista registrata l’11 ottobre 2012, durante l’inaugurazione dell’esposizione degli scultori Alis / Filliol, Pennone presenta le mostre che apriranno questo inverno: gli architetti italiani A12 e Baukuh, l’artista spagnolo Jorge Peris e una nuova produzione dell’artista israeliano Guy Ben-Ner. Parla positivamente anche del futuro della scena artistica genovese, riferendosi al Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Villa Croce e alla nuova curatrice Ilaria Bonacossa; cita anche la Galleria Chan e la Fondazione Garrone tra quelle istituzioni che stanno aiutando la città a crescere in termini di ricerca artistica.
